Derby Book Festival Spring Collection Feb 29 – March 4

Derby Book Festival is back!

Derby Book Festival is holding three Festivals for 2024, with the first Spring Collection taking place from Thursday 29 February until Monday 4 March.

Events will take place at venues across the city centre, including QUAD, the Museum of Making, Artcore, and Derby Museums and Art Gallery.

As per usual, there is something for everyone, with free events taking place with academics from the University of Derby’s CivicLAB, a Marketing Derby bondholders breakfast, and a children’s event.

Authors attending this year’s Spring Collection include:

  • Simon McDonald: Beyond Britannia: Reshaping UK Foreign Policy AND Leadership
  • Michael Greaney: An A-Z of Jane Austen
  • Peter Apps: Deterring Armageddon: A Biography of NATO
  • Laura Adlington: Diet Starts Monday
  • Joanne Burn: The Bone Hunters
  • Stef Penney: The Beasts of Paris
  • Sophie Elmhirst: Maurice and Maralyn: The true story of a Derby couple
  • Jonathan Wilson: Two Brothers: The life and times of Bobby and Jackie Charlton
