What's on
A fun and creative story gathering workshop for deaf and hard-of-hearing people who love being creative. Using drama and illustration, artists Kelly and Carole will stimulate conversations, allowing you to tell the story of your craft or creative journey.
BSL interpreters will be present and information will be gathered with visual note-taking.
This is more than just a workshop—your insights could become part of a public exhibition in Chesterfield town centre as part of Derbyshire Makes 2026! We’re creating 10 Makers’ Stories to highlight the rich and diverse world of making in our community, past and present.
Why Take Part?
• Celebrate your craft and community
• Influence the direction of a major cultural programme
• Be part of an inspiring public art exhibition in 2026
• Meet and collaborate with fellow creatives
