CONTRAST does what it says on the label with an exciting mix of work including contemporary and traditional styles – showcasing work by Zoe Marsh, known for her ceramic and textile work, and maritime artist Patrick Twiss-Prentice. Or contemporary landscapes by North Derbyshire artist Val Hudson sharing space with pointillist Mark Langley and landscape artist Steven McLoughlin. The exhibition continues until March 23rd so you have plenty of time to drop in.
The Gallery is open from 10am – 4pm every week from Wednesday to Saturday. Small artists are welcome to settle down in the cosy Creative Corner every Saturday and draw their own picture while adults browse. Details of the exciting exhibitions at Creative Melbourne are always available on the Creative Melbourne Gallery website and social media and we will be sharing exciting news in March about free creative community workshops this Spring and the Arts Melbourne Open Art Fair.
