CALL FOR ENTRIES – Tarpey Gallery Open 2023

Event Summary

This open call aims to showcase the best of UK contemporary art by bringing together emerging and established artists to create a diverse and exciting group exhibition in one of the East Midlands’ foremost Commercial Contemporary Fine Art Galleries.

Event Description

Entries will be open to all artists working in the UK. Artwork can be on any theme and we will be accepting Artworks using all types of media; paintings, original prints, photography, textiles, drawings, works on paper and 3D works – including sculpture and ceramics. Entries are open from 15th May – 13th June 2023. Winning submissions will be included in a group exhibition from 22nd July – 27th August 2023.

Prizes

A cash prize of £250 for the Winner chosen by Gallery Manager Luke Tarpey.
We will invite multiple artists to take part in next year’s exhibition programme from the Open exhibitants. A list of those selected will be published alongside the Open Exhibiting Artists. There is no limit in this (last year I picked 26 artists). This is primarily an open for any artists who want to be involved with and support the gallery.

Entry Fee and Commission

Each artist may submit up to two pieces. The fee is £15 for 1 piece or £20 for 2 pieces.
