David Beard Music Production
A Derbyshire-based music production company supplying music and sound design to a wide range of media including Film, Video & TV, Theatre & Dance Productions.
Derby Jazz supports and develops jazz in Derby. It is a not-for-profit jazz development organisation which has been continuously active since 1982.
Derbyshire Music Education Hub
Derbyshire Music Education Hub is a collaboration between key local and regional music organisations, led by the Derby & Derbyshire Music Partnership, working together to create joined up, high quality music education in and out of school.

Story and Rhyme times in Derbyshire

COMA (Contemporary Music-making for Amateurs)

English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS)
The EFDSS is the national folk arts development organisation for England. They champion the English traditional arts – music, song, dance, storytelling, customs and traditions – as part of the rich and diverse cultural landscape of the UK.
Incorporated Society of Musicians
The ISM is the UK’s professional body for musicians and a nationally recognised subject association for music.
Making Music is the UK’s membership organisation for leisure-time music, with a membership of over 3,700 groups representing around 200,000 music makers across the UK.
The Musicians’ Union is a community of around 32,000 musicians working to protect our members’ rights and campaign for a fairer music industry.

Outdoor Arts UK is a national membership and strategic organisation that aims to bring together the many diverse parts of the Outdoor Arts sector.
National Association of Youth Theatres
Founded in 1982, NAYT is an educational charity working with over 1,300 groups and individuals to support the development of young people through excellent youth theatre.
National Drama is the UK’s leading professional association of drama educators mostly aimed at those in TIE, primary and secondary education.
National Operatic and Dramatic Association
NODA is the national body that represents amateur theatre. The National Operatic and Dramatic Association was founded in 1899 to protect and advance the interests of operatic and dramatic arts, and of societies engaged therein.
National Youth Musical Theatre
The National Youth Musical Theatre offers exceptional opportunities in pre-professional, musical theatre training for talented young people of all backgrounds aged 10-23 years.

Déda is a creative centre for dance, contemporary circus and outdoor performance based in the heart of Cathedral Quarter in Derby – connecting locally, nationally and internationally.
University of Derby
The University of Derby offers courses in contemporary dance, dance and movement, dance and contemporary circus and creative expressive therapies.
Regional Dance Organisations
Cheshire Dance leads the artistic provision and support of dance across Cheshire. They champion diversity as a source of creativity and the critical role of dance artists in public engagement.
DanceXchange is a Birmingham-based dance organisation dedicated to making and showing great dance. They’re set on involving artists and the wider community in their projects.
National dance agency based in Nottingham. Dance4 curates the biennial Nottdance Festival, which takes place across the city of Nottingham. It’s regional work for children and young people includes U.Dance in the East Midlands and the Centre for Advance Training.
