Derby Season of Light is back for 2023! Derby’s annual celebration of the city’s dazzling diversity and creativity, brought to you by Surtal Arts and partners.

It’s our pleasure to invite you the launch of this year’s Season of Light, to be held at Deda on Friday 20 October 2023, from 5.30 – 6.45pm.

Come and find out more about the Season’s events and activities, as well as an opportunity to explore the ‘The Hidden Story of Kantha’ exhibition and exclusive performances by rising stars of UK’s Indian classical music scene, whilst enjoying some tasty Diwali snacks.

It would be great to see you there, it promises to be a wonderful launch event.
