Pottery Hare
Saturday 6th June 10am – 4pm
Vicky will lead you step by step through making this gorgeous hare no experienc of clay needed to take part. Every hare will be unique and you get to choose from a range of finishes. Your completed hare will be ready to collect a few weeks after the workshop from the studio. It is fired at a temperature which means if you wish your hare can reside in your garden once he is done.
Book Club – Murder at the Black Cat Cafe by Seishi Yokomizo
Monday 1st June 6 – 7pm
Our friendly book club meet once a month on a Monday evening to discuss the month’s chosen book. There is normally 8 -12 ladies but we do get the occasional man as well.
Zipped Make-up Pouch
Tuesday 30th June 1.30pm
This workshop is designed for intermediate sewers it is not an easy make but it is beautiful. You will learn about inserting zips on a curve and deal with lining fabric, padding and the outer fabric too. Alison will be there to guide you through each step of of making this lovely pouch to take home complete.
Untutored Life Drawing
Once a month on Sunday mornings we have 5 places available to come along and have a go. This is an untutored session so there is no judgement on what you create and you can bring along any medium you like to use during the session. This month is our male model Eric.
Art Journaling
Tuesday 9th June 6.30pm
One of our one off art journaling workshops, giving you some time for creative respite and experimentation. Every session is different and this time we will be making a luggage tag accordian so no need for a journal to join in.
Woolly Wednesday
Now in it’s thirteenth year our social crafting event happens every Wednesday in the morning at 10am and the evening at 6pm. The mornings tend to be busier at the moment but we have space for more. Just come along with your WIP, catch up and enjoy a cuppa!
Mastering Zips
Tuesday 23rd June 2.30pm
This workshop is about gaining the skills and confidence to insert zips into your makes be that dressmaking, cushions or bags. You will learn a variety of techniques under the expert tuition of Alison.
