Warm Spaces – Games at the Barn

 

This Monday

Join us this Monday for a game of Bingo. Between 11 – 12pm and 1 – 2pm we will be running games of bingo as part of our warm space for all.

We will also have a wide selection of board games, cards and jigsaws to use throughout the day. Or if you just want an area to do work, read a book or have a chat then come to the Barn. There will also be refreshments on offer

Chris Mcshane’s Ukulele Workshop

Every Tuesday 28 – April 4

10 – 12pm

£75

Join Chris Mcshane on a six week course that will guide you through all the basics of playing.

We will learn to play chords and master basic strumming patterns, melodic playing and tablature reading. There will also be lots of songs in different styles. The emphasis will be on fun teaching sessions in a relaxed atmosphere.

Children’s Craft – Inspired by Nature

Sarah Thursfield Shirts and Shifts from Iron to Steam Age

Saturday and Sunday 25 – 26

10 – 4pm

£50 (£40 Friends)

Join Sarah Thursfield in this two day course learning about the history of shirts and shifts.

The long history of seamstress-work: cutting out without patterns and hand sewing for durability and beauty. Bring your own fabric and start a garment, or make samples of the essential methods. All skill levels welcome. Please note that this course includes a free copy of my 40-page booklet on ‘Perfect Linens’ which has all the information in it.
