Chatsworth house are looking forward to reopening the house, garden and farmyard on Saturday 16 March, and unveiling their new 2024 exhibition, Picturing Childhood: A New Perspective at Chatsworth.
They’ve been busy over winter; along with an intensive programme of conservation and restoration, we have refurbished the Chatsworth Farm Shop in Pilsley, the clothing area of our Stables Shop and much of the interior of the Cavendish Hotel, as well as bringing in a new ticketing system and a branding refresh for Chatsworth.
We’ve also launched a new programme of events and experiences that everyone can get involved in, from a family festival and junior ecology sessions to weekend printmaking workshops and Tai Chi on the banks of the river Derwent.
