Tapton Lock Visitors Centre
Not long now before our very special 10th Anniversary Tapton Lock Festival. It will be a little different from previous events and we hope it will be one to remember.
A brightly coloured circus Big Top will be at the heart of the festival site, hosting workshops, displays and performances throughout the weekend.
Visitors will be able to release their creativity by taking part in the ever-popular arts and crafts activities, all delivered by professional artists. There also will be vintage fairground rides, a climbing wall, canoeing, narrowboat rides and something new for the festival, water zorbs!
Audiences can enjoy entertainment from around the globe, including Ukrainian, African and Chinese music and dance as well as the opportunity to sample food from around the world!
You can bring a picnic or get refreshments on site from the Devonshire Deli, Drone Valley Brewery and Visitor Centre. We strive to reduce the use of plastic over the weekend and would like to remind visitors they can top up their water bottles from a tap on site.
So, come and join us on the 10th & 11th September, down at Tapton Lock from 11.00-4.00pm both days and entry is free for all.
