10th Anniversary Celebration Open Day

Spring Bank Arts was officially opened by radio and TV personality, Ian McMillan in September 2012. Since then, we have hosted over 300 events. These ranged from children’s Science Club, coffee mornings, sell-out performances by members of the Hallé Orchestra, cinema@springbankarts, performances by Live and Local touring companies, High Peak Open Arts weekends, brass band concerts, folk and jazz groups to storytelling and drama.

Many community organisations run groups from Spring Bank Arts including High Peak Community Arts with its special emphasis on Arts and Health, U3A groups (University of the Third Age) studying gardening, books, philosophy, languages, photography, Art History, Archaeology and canasta. We are also host to several health and wellbeing groups, Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates.
