Ruchita Shaikh, CEO of Artcore was on BBC Radio Derby with Ian Skye.
As one of the key members of Artcore, Ruchita and her husband has been actively putting their life’s work and their love of arts to help those some of the most vulnerable individuals in Derby. They have used Artcore as a platform to bring together various and diverse communities of Derby together, providing a space for them to explore their creative side and make meaningful friendships and connections through artist led workshops. The work that they have done for Derby has been fantastic. In whatever big or small way someone’s life has been changed through Artcore. It is then inevitable, that people want to know more about the pair behind it all.
Ruchita was invited to go on BBC radio Derby, Lunch with Ian Skye, to share a glimpse of her life. She shared about her childhood, her family and how she grew up, the experiences that shaped her, how she met her husband and how their goals in life intertwined, which led them to give something back to the society in union with their love for the Arts.
