Raise Your Flag! LGBTQ+ Flag Making Workshop with Haydn Rhys Cawley

Due to recent political upheaval, LGBTQ+ flags have become an ever more important symbol of resistance, solidarity and identity, which is currently under attack.

As part of Derbyshire Makes 2026, we’re inviting members of the LGBTQ+ community to design and make their own LGBTQ+ flags to fly high in the face of adversity. Bring your own materials which mean something to you or dive into our pre-loved and upcycled fabrics, in these free-to-attend, welcoming and supportive workshops led by Haydn Rhys Cawley.
