Peak Vision Arts is back with their annual Christmas Showcase Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November at No 89, their Community Hub in Chapel en le Frith. Address: 89 Market Street, Chapel en le Frith, SK23 0JD. The artist members are Julia Brownsword (Mixed Media Design); Jan Hoyle (Felt Art); Ingrid Katarina Karlsson (Mixed Media); Louise Neilson (Ceramics); Beverly O’Donoghue (Landscape Painting); Margaret Steeden (Botanical Printing). The inviting venue is right in the centre of the town with parking nearby (e.g. Morrison’s) and will have a café on the premises with home made cakes.

Opening Hours 10.30-16.00, 18th – 19th Nov

Award-winning charity to manage Derby’s community libraries

Sporting Communities, a community development organisation, will create a Trust to operate the city’s non-statutory library service. Exciting Updates for Dark Peak Photo Festival

Dark Peak Photo Festival have had over 3500 visitors across Victoria Hall and The Old Brewery Space this year, received over 250 applicants for the open call, and displayed photography by 200 photographers across both venues in Glossop. Retail and hospitality businesses also reported a marked increase in footfall on the high street. Additionally, 189 people took part in walks and workshops.
