New dates have been announced for two shows which were due to take place at Derby Arena in spring and early summer.
Jimmy Carr, who was due to bring his Terribly Funny tour to the Arena on Sat 22 May, has confirmed a new date of Sat 23 Oct 2021. Magic of Motown, a musical tribute to the sounds of the Motor City, has moved from Sat 26 Jun 2021 to Friday 27 May 2022.
While there was always doubt about whether they would be able to go ahead as planned due to ongoing COVID restrictions, both shows have been moved due to the use of Derby Arena as a vaccination centre against the virus.
There is no need for existing Derby LIVE customers to contact us as our Sales and Information Team will be in touch with them. Tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date, with the option of a full refund if this date is unsuitable. If you did not purchase your ticket through Derby LIVE, please contact your ticket provider.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these postponements, and would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. We are continuing to follow Government guidance around live performances and will provide any further updates as soon as we can.
Two more arena shows have also been rescheduled due to the Arena being used as a vaccinations centre: Circus of Horrors, which has moved to Friday 21 January 2022, and Seven Drunken Nights, which will now take place on Sat 30 Oct 2021.
