Back by popular demand, comedic heavyweight Jimmy Carr will be presenting his new show, Laugh Funny. It’s 90 minutes of solid jokes with no interval. He makes his return to Derby Arena on Fri 7 Feb 2025. The show starts at 8:00pm. Known for his controversial one-liners, books and TV shows, Jimmy Carr began his career in 2000, following his dream of being a comedian by performing in small local gigs. The rest is history, and he has been performing and sharing his taboo opinions in various forms ever since.
Jimmy has enjoyed a varied career alongside his successful stand-up routines, he is also a seasoned TV Host. TV shows such as Distraction, Your Face or Mine?, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, 8 Out of Cats Does Countdown, A Comedy Roast and 10 O’Clock Live are all prominent on his showbiz CV. Not to mention lots of infamous guest appearances such as on Top Gear when he was branded “the worst driver we’ve ever had,” by mysterious star The Stig.

Just a few days later, Hot Water Comedy Club compare and comedian, Paul Smith will be playing not one, but two nights at Derby Arena on Wed 19 and Thu 20 Feb 2025. Both shows start at 7:30pm.
His new tour Pablo promises the jaw-aching, laugh out loud comedy that only Smith can deliver. This is his biggest and funniest tour show yet, and it promises to have you rolling around in laughter with every joke. The show features a mix of his trademark audience interaction and hilarious true stories from his everyday life. You can expect hysterics from start to finish, and you won’t want to miss a minute.
