Media Release – Dinos, Eagles and Ultimate Rock, new shows are announced for 2025 at Derby Arena

A packed season is heading to Derby Arena for 2025, from rock, authentic tributes and some ROARSOME dinosaurs.

If you’re always reaching for your air guitar when a rock anthem comes on then The Ultimate Classic Rock Show is for you. Formed in 2005, The Ultimate Classic Rock Show have performed across the UK and become known as one of the most authentic classic rock tribute shows in the UK. On Sat 22 Mar, they will make their first appearance at Derby Arena and will be a popular choice with rock fans. So, prepare to take a journey through classic rock nostalgia, with hits from rock icons such as Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Deep Purple, Free and more. On sale now, tickets are £32.

If West Country rock is more your thing, join The Illegal Eagles as they make a welcome return to Derby Arena on Fri 11 Apr. Celebrating over 50 years since The Eagles formed, this show features an impressive line-up of Tony Kiley (former member of The Blow Monkeys), Trevor Newnham, Gregg Webb, Mike Baler and Garreth Hicklin. Together they capture the vocals and delivery of Henley, Walsh, Fry, Schmidt and Meisner. The Illegal Eagles are now in their 24th year on the road and the show continues to have a dedicated following and is not to be missed. Tickets are £39.50, ‘Take It Easy’ and get your tickets now.

Something for our younger audience members, is Jurassic Earth on Sun 13 Apr. Prepare for a Jurassic Adventure and meet the most incredible Dinosaurs species to have lived. Little ones can come face-to-face with the World’s largest walking T Rex, a big-hearted Brontosaurus, tricky Triceratops, uncontrollable Carnotaurus, vicious Velociraptors & sneaky Spinosaurus. A thrilling family show, which is fun for ages, will give you a glimpse into the time when ‘walking with dinosaurs’ was a reality! Tickets are between £32 – £22.

Another popular show back again is ELO Again. On Sun 2 Nov, the Re-Discovery tour will celebrate the music of Jeff Lynne and the Electric Light Orchestra. The ELO formed back in 1970 and fused pop and classical arrangements and were well known for their spectacular live shows. ELO Again give you a taste of what an ELO concert would have been like back in the heyday and allow you the chance to get the atmosphere of an ELO concert first hand. Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £36- £31.
