About the Myths, Legends and Fairy Tales Scarecrow Trail:

The Scarecrow Trail is not your typical event. It’s a whimsical journey through a stunning display of creatively crafted scarecrows, each with its own unique charm and personality. This year, we’re taking the art of scarecrow making to a whole new level.

And this is the seventh year and the village have made over 80 scarecrows!
And this year the trail has expanded and now includes our wonderful neighbours in  Hazelwood!

What to Expect:

Scarecrow Magic: Encounter scarecrows like you’ve never seen before. From classic fairy tale themed to contemporary pop culture creations, these scarecrows will amaze and delight.

Family-Friendly: Bring the whole family for a day of laughter, creativity, and memorable moments.

Contests and Prizes: Don’t forget to vote for your favourite scarecrow! And there is a quiz for all ages with prizes.

Refreshment stops: Over the weekend (16th and 17th of September) you can refresh yourself with some lovely food and drink at our community refreshment stops. Around the village.

Join us for a magical five days:

The Duffield Scarecrow Trail is more than an event; it’s a celebration of community spirit, creativity, and the joy of the season. We invite everyone, young and old, to come and experience the magic.
