Coming to Tideswell this Thursday (27th June) at 7:30pm

It is 2019.

Discover the powerful story of Geoff Marsh and the events of the 1984/85 Miners’ Strike that changed his life forever.

He’s a retired police officer, and has been invited to the Winton Community Centre to deliver a talk.

It could be the usual chat about his career, peppered with useful hints and tips on crime prevention and road safety.

But this is more than that.

It’s the story of how he became a miner, then a copper. He tells us of the one decision that changed his career and the momentous year that changed him, his community and his life, forever

Age Guidance: Suitable for ages 15+ (contains strong language and descriptions of violence).
