Looking for something special to do with the family for Christmas that doesn’t cost the earth, well this is the answer.
Presented by Badapple Theatre, in association with Live & Local we bring you a brand-new family-friendly festive tale, from the team that brought you ‘The Snow Dancer’. This magical tale of family and a battered old music box is aided by puppetry, humour and upbeat songs from SONY award winner Jez Lowe.
Rosa has inherited a battered old music box which never seems to work when you want it to. But, this year, when she wishes for her family to be re-united at Christmas, all sorts of magical things start to happen…
With upbeat songs and jokes suitable for ages five plus and their parents/ carers and grandparents, puppets aid the storytelling by two performers. Also includes a circus skills collaboration with actor Meg Matthews (The Snow Dancer).
‘Badapple Theatre triumphs in a tour that takes the magic of theatre to remote venues.’ The Stage ‘You might be sitting in a village hall somewhere but what you will get will be up there with West End standards of performance, lighting and design…’ Yorkshire Post on Badapple
