Book now to appear in The Poetry Review’s Autumn 2024 issue

A reminder that The Autumn 2024 issue of The Poetry Review launches at the end of September, so book now to appear in the latest issue of the UK’s leading poetry journal, published since 1912.

The forthcoming Autumn issue is edited by Wayne Holloway-Smith and includes new poetry, essays, visual art and reviews.

There is limited space to appear in the Autumn issue, and bookings should be confirmed by 16th August

The new autumn issue of The Poetry Review (114:3) features new poems from Forrest Gander, Fred D’Aguiar, Shannon Smith-Meekings, Lucy Mercer, Ian Humphreys, Ellora Sutton, Philip Gross and Moniza Alvi among many others; Kaisa Saarinen supplies a new translation of a selection of Shuji Terayama’s tanka as well as an insight into the historical form; Matthew Holman writes in on Frank O’Hara as Exhibition Curator and Caroline Harris consider the value of cuteness in ecopoetics, and Harry Josephine Giles and W.N. Herbert provide the latest intergenerational discussion. Reviews include Ali Lewis on John Burnside’s final collection, Andrew Spragg on J.H. Prynne and Anthony Vahni Capildeo, Zakia Carpenter Hall on Gboyega Odubanjo, Isabelle Baafi on Fady Joudah and Danez Smith, and Christopher Lloyd on a selection of poetry pamphlets.
