Arts Derbyshire is looking to contract a Director on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will lead the charity, shape and deliver its vision and be responsible to the Board on all matters of strategy, policy development, fundraising and management.

Arts Derbyshire is the strategic arts development charity for the county, aiming to enrich people’s lives through the arts. We are looking for an inspirational leader to manage the day-to-day activities of the organisation and raise funds to enable us to deliver on our mission, supporting our ambitions for growth across the next year and beyond.

Job Title: Director

Fee: The fee for this contract is £40,000. Applicants should detail in their bid exactly what they are able to offer for the budget available. This is a freelance contract for a minimum of 12 months, with the opportunity to extend.

The probation period is 3 months; appointment is subject to satisfactory references.

Location: Based at your own home. Due to the nature of this role, regular travel will be required.
