Buxton is a fabulous place to visit, especially in Summer, and most certainly during Buxton Festival Fringe. And for this year’s Fringe 2022, I’m delivering two shows, all ages, bringing my Sunday Service live stream show to play out to a live audience.
The story:
Lockdown. Over 35 years of regular live performances ended abruptly. A musician picked up his guitar, fine tuned his piano, gathered the courage to stand in front of a web cam, and played his songs to an empty room.
Over 80 shows later, Darren Poyzer’s Sunday Service is an internet hit, with regular viewers across the UK and continents clicking in and buying him coffee.
Now for the first time, with a walk through the ‘backstage’ elements of producing your own diy internet show, Darren brings Sunday Service to a live theatre audience.
Captivating smile, boundless energy, fabulous shirts, reviews celebrating character, humour, storytelling and a strong sense of social justice, Darren is on a mission to dispel negative energy and live stream all over the world.
Passion, compassion, a reason for being; keep your heart sunny 🙂 d x
