Save the dates for another busy festival of stunning music performed by some of the most exciting classical musicians in the UK. We expect the festival to include Schumann’s Piano Quintet, Richard Strauss songs, Viennese waltzes, Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring arranged for four hands on the piano featuring festival favourites Viv McLean and Benjamin Powell. Families can enjoy an interactive concert of fantastic fairy tales and budding singers can take part in a Hallé Choral Workshop. The festival will close with an orchestral concert featuring Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante and Mendelssohn’s ‘Italian’ Symphony.

Friday 21 June:
7pm – Opening Concert (Parish Church)
9.30pm – Late Night Concert (Parish Church)
Saturday 22 June:
10.30am – Family Concert (St James’ Church)
2-4pm – Hallé Choral Community Workshop (St James’ Church)
7pm – Closing Concert (Parish Church)
