Replika Festival has officially entered the record books after becoming the new Guinness World Records™ title holder for the Most Tribute Acts to Perform at a Music Festival, following a spectacular weekend of live music at Catton Park, Derbyshire.
Across three days from Friday 26 – Sunday 28 June 2026, an incredible 108 tribute bands performed across the festival’s multiple stages, smashing the previous benchmark and cementing Replika Festival’s place in history.
The achievement was confirmed on Sunday 28 June, when an official Guinness World Records adjudicator took to the Catton Stage at 9:30pm ahead of Majesty – A Tribute To Queen to announce that Replika Festival had successfully achieved the world record. Thousands of festivalgoers gathered to witness the historic moment before the final band took to the stage.
The record-breaking weekend featured performances celebrating more than six decades of music, with standout appearances from The Bootleg Beatles, Guns 2 Roses, Wrong Jovi, Nickelback UK, LinkN P4rk, Rule The World, Dan Budd as Robbie Williams, Got To Be Steps, Girls R Loud, WestZone, The Ed Sheeran Experience, Kascada The Tribute, The Pistols, Badness, Noasis, and 93 more, creating Europe’s biggest ever gathering of tribute artists.
Beyond the music, festivalgoers also enjoyed entertainment from the Chipperfield Entertainments Circus Tent, Bathory Pro Wrestling, the Kapow Retro Gaming Tent, Rob Kirtley’s Jimi Handtrix puppet show and roaming performers.
James Dean, Festival Organiser, said: “To officially become Guinness World Records™ title holders is an incredible moment for everyone involved with Replika Festival. Bringing together 108 tribute bands over one weekend has taken an enormous amount of planning, coordination and passion from our entire team, crew and volunteers. I’d like to thank every one of the brilliant performers and our amazing audience for coming out for our first edition. Replika is about celebrating the music people love, from rock to pop, country to metal. The atmosphere throughout the weekend was unbelievable, even in the record breaking heat!”
Replika Festival will return in 2027 from 25th to 27th June at Catton Park. Tickets will be available soon from https://ontick.co.uk/event/Replika2027.
