Lost In The Hills

The second annual Lost in the Hills two-day music and arts festival brings original sounds and creativity to the heart of the Peak District national park – a unique event offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature, contemporary music and the arts.

Lost in the Hills live, presented by Creative Peaks, is rooted in nature, music, creativity and the connections between.  Based in the surrounds of the ancient stone-built Watts Russell Arms in the heart of the Peak District National Park, the organisers have meticulously curated a line-up of contemporary, world, experimental and folk music.  Creativity and Connection are central to the philosophy behind the festival, with jam sessions and creative workshops a few of the many ways to get involved.

Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in beautiful surroundings and to explore the stunning countryside with recommended walks (with a few surprises on the way!). They will be able to engage in the connections between art and nature through inspiring workshops, eco-conscious craft stalls and links to local rewilding and tree-planting initiatives.

Saturday 8th of July will focus on live music performances, creative workshops and arts installations. Sunday 9th of July will provide the opportunity to experience the designed walks before relaxing around an open fire and participating in improvised music sessions. A reduced entry charge will apply on Sunday and is designed to appeal to the local community. Craft stalls, locally produced ales and ciders and delicious vegan and vegetarian food will be available on both days. There is no phone signal on the site so visitors will be treated to a mini digital detox!

Full line up and more info coming soon.  Those interested in attending can take a look at the video from last year’s festival on YouTube and follow on socials.
