Derbyshire Open Arts are having a 2021 Online Campaign from January 15^th – May 31^st with lots of social media activity on Instagram and Facebook and:

Weekly Saturday morning live artist interviews on Instagram at10.30am.
Two videos a month including Artist Compilation videos, Social Media Mentor videos, and a Committee Video.
Monthly Zoom Networking meetings for Artists. Information is on our website News page. If you would like to take part email info@derbsyhireoarts@gmail.com
DOArtsinwindows. Whilst we cannot do the full Derbyshire Open Arts experience this year, we have been thinking about ways that we can keep a little light burning, within restrictions of course. So, this May Spring Bank holiday 28^th – 31^st May, the weekend that our physical event would normally take place, we are inviting artists to turn their windows at home into a gallery. Celebrating connections between humans and animals

The new exhibition, Chesterfield Menagerie, includes a wide range of items from the Chesterfield Museum collection which show humans connections with animals. It includes a beautiful Brampton salt glaze fish flask, ‘The Plough’ a stunning painting by Joseph Syddall, a wonderful figurine of a Chicken by William Gordon and much more.
