From nature-spotting safaris to mini Olympics, you’ll find plenty to inspire curious minds this summer at Chatsworth House.
A garden and farmyard ticket includes access to a programme of free family activities, with a different theme each week. In the house, follow a children’s trail through our exhibition House of Stories: Tales from the Chatsworth Library, featuring rare copies and first editions of important literary works by Geoffrey Chaucer, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, William Thackeray, and many more.
Book in advance to benefit from free parking, or why not take the bus? The open-top Peak Sightseer runs daily until 19 September, making the journey part of the adventure.
With so much to discover, it’s worth staying a little longer. Our cottages, hotels, and inns provide a perfect base from which to explore Chatsworth and all the Peak District has to offer.
