New artists appeals this week

Philippa Hicks would like space to exhibit in either New Mills or Glossop. She creates colourful paintings of landscapes, local landmarks and wildlife and she has started to work on 3D sculpture.

Philip and Helen Cunliffe are looking for a venue in Glossop. They do mixed media landscapes of Derbyshire, Cornwall and North Wales. Stoneware and porcelain hand-built decorative ceramics often organic or landscape inspired and functional garden pots.

Here are more appeals for venues for the 2022 Event

Helen Jacobs has space in Peak Potters Chapel Road, Whaley Bridge. The space is suitable for sculpture, garden furniture, ceramics, jewellery, textiles and 2D work provided they bring their own boards/stands.

Paul Burton, Aquaceramics, is accepting applications for Tansley Village Hall, Church St., Tansley. DE4 5FH. The venue has space for 12 artists. Artists must have personal insurance.

Rich Fearn is the Community Development and Business Manager at the Doe Lea Centre, Doe Lea, S44 5PD.

Lesley and Terry Nason offer space in Sudbury Courtyard – DE6 5EB. Within the courtyard they have a cafe and six other retail businesses. There are 8 outdoor spaces on offer and each artist must have their own gazebo, tables and chairs.
