Have you taken part in 30 Days Creative?

This May, Arts Derbyshire launched 30 Days Creative, a month-long campaign celebrating creativity and wellbeing across Derbyshire. Produced as part of our Creative Health programme, the campaign was developed in collaboration with our Creatives in Place, Nick and Beth, alongside health professionals, artists and community members from across the county.

Throughout May, we encouraged people to embrace small, simple acts of creativity each day and discover the positive impact creativity can have on wellbeing. From listening to birdsong and baking, to sharing a favourite book, dancing freely or writing a haiku, there are countless ways to weave moments of creativity into everyday life. You can download the free calendar HERE or find even more inspiration over on our Instagram. The campaign ran alongside Creativity & Wellbeing Week 2026 and was beautifully designed by local artist Carla Dee (@lovelalalanduk).

If you took part, we’d love to hear how you got creative. And if you missed the start on 1st May, don’t worry! This resource is designed to be enjoyed over any 30-day period, meaning you can begin your creative journey whenever it feels right for you.
