FREE Learning on Prescription resource for carers and care givers
Improving Me NHS Cheshire and Merseyside is working in partnership with the WEA nationally to promote a FREE Learning on Prescription for any carers anywhere in England or Scotland . This is for anyone with caring responsibilities be it a family member, friend or child with additional needs. The WEA has curated a diverse programme of FREE online courses designed to provide distraction, escape and joy which are designed to fit around care responsibilities.
Courses range from heath and wellbeing or stress management, to literature, history, meditation or yoga – there’s something for everyone.
You can read all about it here: https://www.improvingme.org.uk/community/learning-on-prescription/ and access the programme directly. You do not need to be in receipt of a carers allowance to be eligible.
