A World Where Everyone Feels SNUG

A World Where Everyone Feels SNUG

Last month, People Express celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Swadlincote Aspergers Society (SAS) and their first public art exhibition SNUG, which ran at the Brewhouse House Arts Centre in Burton upon Trent.

The exhibition was seen by over 1000 people across the fortnight it was open. Artworks included unique textile installation complete with a real bed to snuggle into, beautiful kaleidoscopic digital imagery based on items or things that make the artists feel safe, an ASMR-style soundscape which the group coined as their “audio quilt”, and cosy hand-crafted weighted blankets.
