Matlock Storytelling Café presents Tales from Two Worlds with our resident storytellers Rachel Murray and Debs Page at the helm.
Debs brings us tales of Artegall and Radigund, stories from a 16th Century epic featuring wild warrior women, cross-dressing knights and a fearsome robot sidekick. We step even further back in time, to ancient Greece, as Rachel brings cautionary tales of the events that can result from insulting your host or even worse, The Gods. Stories of pride, power and passion are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago.
Come along on to the Imperial Rooms, Imperial Road, Matlock DE4 3NL on Friday the 1st of July for an evening of in-person face-to-face storytelling. The doors open at 7.00 pm, and stories and music from 7.30-9.30 Tickets are £7 live and £5 online.
