Inner Landscapes opens on the 19th March from 2-5pm and you are all warmly invited to the opening of another not to be missed exhibition at The Old Lock Up Gallery. The exhibition continues from 24th March until 29th April: open Friday – Sunday 10-5pm.
As I pondered the forthcoming show and the work within it I stumbled across Robert Macfarlane’s ‘The Old Ways’:
“I have long been fascinated by how people understand themselves using landscape, by the topographies of self we carry within us and by the maps we make with which to navigate these interior terrains. We think in metaphors drawn from place and sometimes those metaphors do not only adorn our thought but actively produce it.”
The exhibition has a beautiful array of paintings, collages and ceramics.
The web page for the galleries annual Open is now LIVE and you can submit your artisic work to the Open 23 exhibition.
