With Buxton Fringe’s orange floral displays still going strong, Luke Bates and Alfie Tomkinson of the Pump Room’s Buxton Visitor Centre (pictured from l-r), were delighted to receive a letter of thanks from Fringe organisers and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange provided by Morrisons. The Fringe Hotspots, conceived by former Fringe vice chair, the late Viv Marriott, were planted to brighten up the town and to promote July’s Fringe festival. Other participants included The Green Man Gallery, Day Zero, The Herb Garden, Poole’s Cavern, Jo Royle, The Cheshire Cheese, Lubens, Scrivener’s Haddon Hall Care Home, Forest Gin, Zink, Water Street Sensory Garden, Buxton Infant School, Bright Opportunities and Brick Corner.
