How to … shape cultural policy through research

In partnership with Department for Culture, Media and Sport, we have produced a ‘How to’ guide for researchers seeking to shape public policy.

The guide provides valuable insights into how policymakers use research and the ways in which both researchers and policymakers can work together to maximise research impact.

Drawing on insights gained through research placements, this resource also highlights government research priorities, evaluation criteria and how to make contact with key policy stakeholders as well as signposting other helpful resources.

How to guides – tell us your priorities
We are currently commissioning some future How to guides and would love to know which topics you would find most useful.

We have put some suggestions in this quick poll. Please vote for which new title(s) would best support your work. There’s also the chance to suggest a different topic which you feel would be valuable to you and the sector.

Of course, you can also email us your How To guide ideas (along with any other questions or comments about our work) at: ccv@leeds.ac.uk.
