Artist Nicki Dennett has been delivering Number Narrative sessions at the Artcore community hub. She has been encouraging participants to use budgeting tips through artistic methods of visualization. (After Easter artist Caroline Ainsworth will be running these sessions).
Number Narratives sessions at the Bosnian Centre have been led by artist Dawn Campion and Sarah Griffiths-Wright, exploring techniques with textiles. Participants have been sewing textile squares in addition to learning embroidery and embellishment techniques, which have been sewn onto their textile squares. Number Narratives is open to adults aged 19 and above who have not attained a higher maths qualification and want to gain employability skills.
