Call for Applications to Derbyshire Artists

Arts Derbyshire is thrilled to announce Festivity 2025, an exciting touring showcase celebrating the vibrant artistic talents in our region. We are seeking ten singer-songwriter / solo musicians and ten visual artists to join us for a series of live performances and digital exhibitions across five outdoor locations in Derbyshire throughout Summer 2025.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Solo Singer-Songwriters / Solo Musicians: Perform your music live, growing your audience
• Visual Artists: Showcase your artwork & practice within a curated digital screen installation

Performance and Exhibition Dates: May – September 2025

Locations: Bolsover, Staveley, Ilkeston, Chesterfield and Melbourne

What We Offer: An incredible platform to showcase your work – we are particularly interested in hearing if you have any strong connections with these five towns and surrounding areas. Promotion via our newsletters,  social media channels and an opportunity to sell.

How to Apply:

• Musicians: Send a short 3-minute recording / video of your music and a short description of why you would like to be involved. Links to your social media and Arts Derbyshire profile. Please note that a modest live performance fee is available.
• Visual Artists: Send three images of your artwork and a short description of why you would like to be involved. Links to your social media and Arts Derbyshire profile.
• Register free to become part of the Arts Derbyshire Network at artsderbyshire.org.uk
