Artist profile
I gained my BA Hons. fine art degree in 2003 and have enjoyed teaching in adult education and colleges during the last 6 years. My work is largely landscape in the medium of watercolours, and I also enjoy working in oils on a much larger scale, usally on a commission basis. I like to walk in the wild rugged places of the Peak District and this draws me to paint from my experiences. Within my work I hope to capture some of the experiences of my journey’s with light and space upon which beatiful landscapes are transformed.
