Hi there! I’m Amy, founder of The Craft Cycle, a project focused on sustainable creativity!
My two greatest passions are crafting and recycling. So, I thought, why not combine them? I design sustainable crafting guides and host fun workshops to show you how to turn ‘waste’ into beautiful, functional art.
A big focus of my work is peg loom weaving. This is a simple, traditional weaving technique that creates incredibly durable, chunky textiles. I use recycled fabrics for my pieces to give sad, stained, or torn textiles a new life!
But that’s not all we do! I do all kinds of recycling based crafts such as:
Scrap yarn crochet patterns
DIY T-Shirt yarn
Recycled material home decorations
Everything I do is about rescuing materials from the landfill and transforming them into something new.
