The Chevin Singers

A Belper-based community mixed choir led by Musical Director , Andris Ugulis.   The choir was formed in 2011 with the simple aim of singing songs from all around the world for pleasure.  There are no auditions and ability to read music is helpful but not compulsory!    The choir has strong links with two choirs in Latvia (Lira and Burinieks)   We meet weekly at the Strutts Centre on Tuesdays from 10 am – 12 noon.  Subs (£4/session) are paid in six equal instalments of £28, preferably by bank transfer, at the beginning of January, March, May, July, September and November.
