Stevie Davies – Contemporary Glass Artist & Tutor
Running a thriving contemporary Studio and Gallery in Wirksworth, near Matlock, I specialise in using a variety of kiln fusing techniques to create my art work, each piece of wall art, sculpture or jewellery. Visit me at Create Space to see a permanent display of my work, as well as that of my Selected Makers and join on a workshop to have a go at creating your own fused glass art.
I hope to engage and inspire others to explore their creativity, believing everyone needs an outlet to express themselves and my workshops and kits enable me to help others get creative with glass. I love to see what you make!
My ever popular range of simple and elegant Dichroic glass jewellery adds a bit of sparkle to your day. By hand cutting, layering and firing this wonderful material it brings out glittery effect, often with colour changing properties.
With the creation of my own artwork, I seek to capture your attention, give pleasure, encourage you to notice the subtleties within each piece of unique artwork and indulge in some time for you. Contemplating, reflecting. Commission enquiries welcome.
