Internationally exhibiting textile artist currently working with ideas developed from research into the fragility and tenacity of growth, Memories of landscape and the marks of wind and time. Work often includes words. . Enjoys responding to museum collections in surprising ways. Ecclesiastical textiles and stained glass design work commissions. Member of Textile Study Group, national tutor and curator working with Museums, Guild Groups and teachers. Mentor to textile groups based in Derbyshire and Sheffield. Now full time self employed after 25 years teaching art in further and higher education. MA at Manchester School of Art in 2011
