Abstracted, minimal landscapes as viewed from a passing train or car. My current practice explores the relationship between oil paint and movement, involving many repetitive horizontal and vertical actions, intense concentration and a commitment to experimentation and process. I’m influenced by diagrammatic elements including graphs, maps and pixelated images, and recreate these in paint while also representing landscapes that I find interesting such as seascapes and foggy edgelands.
