Artist profile
Me and Mr Jones are purveyors of artisanal hand-crafted quirk-pop from north-east Derbyshire.
More specifically, we are five musicians and a lampstand named Stan. There’s:
– Louise (who sings)
– John (acoustic synthesiser)
– Rob (percussion)
– Dave (guitar and vocals)
– and, very occasionally, Mr David Ian Jones himself
We write our own songs.
We’ve done an album – “Skyscraper Eyes”, which you can find at Bandcamp
We travel light.
We sometimes wear tweed.
For us, “pop” is not a dirty word. We like harmony, punchiness and Noddy Holder.
