Creative expression has always been intrinsic to my life and my journey continues to be an exciting one. After a period of fully restoring and selling mid century sewing boxes adding a variety of vibrant, internal materials and colour I was drawn to mixed media collage work incorporating my skills and experience.I now focus on painting and mixed media work on wood. My landscape work is organic and sustainable influenced by my exploration of the natural world both in the High Peak and beyond.Each piece is brought to life by working with the beauty and tactile nature of the wood grain using alcohol inks, colour pencil and elements of collage.
