Arts Derbyshire

Artist profile

Graeme Mitcheson

I have been making public art sculpture since graduating from Loughborough College of Art in 1995. I work mainly with carved stone and have created many large scale artworks all over the UK. These include major sculptures in Northumberland, Cumbria, North and South Wales and in Belfast. More locally, I have created sculptural seating in Leicester City Centre along New Walk and in De Montfort Square. Aside from this, I create smaller works for private customers and run stone carving courses from my workshop.
