elisELIS is a visual philosopher, working at the intersections of collage, video art, performance-happenings, ikebana installations, writing, and experimental theatre. her multifaceted practice investigates the relationship between physical bodies, natural materials, emotions, technological interventions and space. Her research is translated into works that prioritise a chance-based process over the finished product, and the limits and possibilities connected to the ideal of freedom. She prefers to stay on the verge of rawness and marginal beauty.
