Artist profile
My experience is in leading community based art projects for children and families that offer educational and social benefits. Themes to date have been based on my own ideas or have come directly from the community. I have worked in schools. The aim of my workshops is to make participants feel uplifted while taking part in the creative experience by learning something new, not necessarily a new art tip or technique, but something about life and/or the wider world. My focus is not just on thematic teaching… other skills include writing. I am an online reviewer (theatre in the main) and a published children’s poet.
