Buxton Film aims to make innovative and creative contemporary film available to audiences that do not usually have access to such film. Buxton Film will show independent films monthly, as well as organising a weekend of film during the July Buxton Festival Fringe. Buxton Film will also encourage film makers by running an annual short film competition and seeking out regional documentary film to show to the widest audiences.
